GE creates new ultrasound units

GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has created two new strategic business segments for its Diagnostic Ultrasound business: Women's Health & Specialty and Radiology & Vascular.

GE also promoted Karl-Heinz Lumpi to the newly created position of general manager for the Women's Health & Specialty business and Brian McEathron to the same post in Radiology & Vascular. Both men will report to Terri Bresenham, vice president and general manager of GE Healthcare's diagnostic ultrasound and information technologies business.
