Japanese medical instrument firm Fukuda Denshi said it intends to sell its Kontron Medical ultrasound divisions by the end of 2006.
The company had turned its Kontron Medical units in France and Switzerland into wholly owned subsidiaries in May 2005. The Tokyo-based company said it decided to sell the subsidiaries to focus on its core business strategy.
