Ultrasound developer Zonare Medical Systems said it has completed installation of its z.one ultrasound system at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.
The z.one system is based on the firm's Zone Sonography technology, which allows the product to convert from a cart-based system to a compact unit that can be carried to a patient's bedside. Providence Radiology Services at the hospital is the first group in Alaska to utilize this technology, according to Mountain View, CA-based Zonare.
