Ultrasound contrast developer Acusphere of Watertown, MA, has hired a new chief financial officer (CFO).
Lawrence Gyenes joins the company after previously serving stints as CFO at companies like Rand McNally, Compuserve, and Helene Curtis, as well as several specialty pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
In other Acusphere news, the company this week reported that it continues to make progress in its efforts to file a new drug application (NDA) for its Imagify contrast agent. The company now believes that the NDA filing is more likely to occur in early 2008, rather than at the end of 2007, as previously expected.
