AACE creates endocrine certification

With guidance from the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) has developed an endocrine certification in neck ultrasound.

To earn the credential, an endocrinologist must receive specialized training, pass a certification examination, and submit case studies and reports.

The AIUM will recognize the AACE's endocrine certification as proof of physician training in thyroid/parathyroid ultrasound.
