Chinese medical equipment manufacturer Mindray Medical International announced at this week's RSNA conference significant upgrades to its M5 portable ultrasound system, including automatic presets for each new exam and a new transducer.
The new L14-6 transducer offers high-frequency imaging of nerve tissue, musculoskeletal and vascular exams as well as pediatric abdominal scans and biopsy guidance, among other applications, the company said.
In addition, Mindray will showcase its new DC-7 premium color Doppler system that offers 4D imaging with speckle noise reduction, wide field-of-view imaging, and phase inversion tissue harmonics.
