Ultrasound and radiotherapy products developer CIVCO Medical Solutions of Kalona, IA, has introduced two products for use with transducers from Zonare Medical Systems of Mountain View, CA.
CIVCO launched the Infiniti needle guidance system for use with the Zonare C4-1 and C9-3 transducers on the several Zonare ultrasound platforms. The device utilizes a two-part system consisting of a custom, reusable biopsy bracket and a disposable snap-on needle guide with sterile CIV-Flex transducer cover.
CIVCO also debuted the AccuSite short-axis needle guidance system for use with Zonare's L14-5w transducer for catheter placement procedures. AccuSite also uses a two-part system consisting of a custom, reusable biopsy bracket and a disposable snap-on needle guide.
