AIUM names new president

The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) has announced Dr. Alfred Abuhamad as its new president.

Abuhamad currently serves as professor and chair of the department of obstetrics and gynecology, associate dean for clinical affairs, and professor of radiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He will be the society's 29th president.
