Portable-ultrasound technology developer Terason said it has released a new portable ultrasound system designed for breast surgeons.
The company's t3200 Breast Series scanner is a portable, laptop device that allows physicians to provide diagnostic and interventional ultrasound to their patients. Images and reports can be scanned and stored directly on the laptop, then emailed directly to referring physicians, according to Terason.
Terason's t3200 Breast Series is the second release in a family of systems that incorporate the company's Flexible Imaging Technology (FIT), Terason said.
