Ultrasound developer U-Systems has finalized a $6.5 million financing round from existing investors and affiliates.
Participants included iD SoftCapital Group, Lumira Capital, PIIH, Radius Ventures, and Sycamore Ventures, according to U-Systems. The company said it would use the funds to complete its premarket approval (PMA) submission to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), finish its somo-InSIGHT clinical study, and continue developing the next generation of its automated breast ultrasound system.
