Imorgon, TomTec form partnership

Ultrasound image management firm Imorgon has entered into a strategic partnership with imaging software developer TomTec Imaging Systems to improve access to 3D imaging.

The new alliance is designed to ensure seamless integration with TomTec's 4D Sono-Scan for analysis of 3D radiologic data on ultrasound systems from multiple vendors, the companies said.

TomTec's 4D Sono-Scan is a clinical application package that features vendor-independent technology to process volume ultrasound data.

Imorgon's IntegratedUltrasound software offers image management and display functionality to view ultrasound studies automatically and display a patient's ultrasound exams, including clips and still images, simultaneously on the same workstation used to view CT and MRI images.
