For the third year in a row, U.S. radiologists will gather in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to provide a series of lectures and hands-on training in ultrasound.
The third annual Radiology Education Days will take place on March 24 and 25 and focus on pediatric and musculoskeletal imaging. The event will feature an imaging case review for attendees to perform a self-assessment of their medical imaging skills.
Participants will come from the American College of Radiology (ACR), the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the World Federation of Pediatric Imaging, the Society of Pediatric Radiology, the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound, and the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
The event is part of the ACR's ongoing effort to improve radiological care in Haiti after the devastating earthquake in January 2010.
