ContextVision to unveil ultrasound software at RSNA 2014

Image enhancement software developer ContextVision plans to show updates to its 3D ultrasound software at RSNA 2014, which begins in Chicago on Sunday. The firm has also filed a patent for visualizing the skeleton using 3D sonography.

GOPiCE 2.0 offers real-time volumetric image processing for 3D ultrasound images, according to ContextVision. It includes new features that enable optimization for different visualization techniques, both multiplanar reformatted (MPR) and rendered views.

The firm will also show a new feature within its REALiCE 3D visualization system. Called SkeletalView, the new feature visualizes the fetal skeleton and helps users review details related to bone mineralization and physical defects. ContextVision said it has filed for a patent for the software.
