Evena Medical has launched version 3.0 of its Eyes-On glasses, a point-of-care wearable ultrasound system for deep-tissue vascular imaging.
The glasses feature a patent-pending design that incorporates multispectral light imaging and wireless connectivity to deliver real-time vascular imaging in a wearable hands-free, cart-free system. With Eyes-On 3.0, Evena's DeepVu ultrasound can be deployed for viewing deep-tissue vascular images such as of the femoral vein and artery. Augmented-reality capabilities are also available, enabling digital overlays during medical training.
Eyes-On uses a custom camera made by Xacti to attain high-quality images and augmented vision/augmented reality without the image latency problems encountered with most smart glasses during real-world imaging procedures, according to the company.
