Exact Imaging scores Chinese investment

Canadian microultrasound technology developer Exact Imaging has received a $3 million Canadian ($2.3 million U.S.) investment from BioSciKin of China.

The capital infusion from BioSciKin is part of Exact Imaging's $20.7 million ($15.7 million U.S.) fundraising initiative to commercialize its ExactVu technology for prostate cancer imaging.

Exact Imaging expects the investment to close in the fourth quarter, pending the completion of due diligence.
