GE Healthcare and Trice Imaging have announced a partnership to add Trice's Tricefy cloud-based image sharing software to GE's women's health ultrasound scanners.
Tricefy allows physicians to better collaborate by offering one-click ultrasound sharing and secure archiving, GE said. It will be integrated into GE's Voluson E series ultrasound scanners and its ViewPoint 6 reporting software and is part of the company's overall cloud-enabled healthcare initiative.
The two firms plan to debut Tricefy as part of GE's ultrasound lineup at the upcoming International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) meeting in Rome.
