Ultrasound technology firm Terason is launching its uSmart 3200T NexGen tablet ultrasound system at the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) meeting being held March 25-29 in Orlando, FL.
The system's new SuperHarmonic engine offers more powerful imaging with enhanced contrast resolution, Terason said. Additional features include continuous-wave Doppler, ECG capability, a new family of transducers, a 256-GB solid-state hard drive, and a Gorilla Glass touchscreen, according to the firm.
The 3200T system is suited for point-of-care applications such as emergency medicine, anesthesia, critical care, musculoskeletal imaging, and vascular access, Terason said.
