Mindray Medical International has appointed Maher Elhihi as director of ultrasound marketing, North America.
Elhihi's base will be the Mindray Innovation Center in Mountain View, CA, where he will manage product marketing strategy and activities.
Elhihi initially served as market segment manager for Zonare Medical Systems (now Mindray), beginning in 2006, and later as manager of marketing until 2011. After Zonare, he became senior manager of ultrasound market development at Toshiba America Medical Systems and most recently was group marketing manager of urology for Karl Storz Endoscopy-America.
