Mindray installs 5 ultrasound scanners in Md. hospital

Mindray Medical International has installed five of its Resona 7 ultrasound scanners at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.

The Resona 7 ultrasound scanners include the latest upgrades to the technology, such as software tools capable of measuring arterial stiffness noninvasively.

Researchers at the hospital plan to work with Mindray on discovering innovative clinical applications of vascular ultrasound over the next five years, noted Dr. Paul Lucas, director of the hospital's Vascular Center.
