Ultrasound technology developer QT Ultrasound is highlighting five presentations concerning its technology that are being delivered at this week's SPIE Medical Imaging 2019 conference in San Diego.
Among the presentations is a study led by clinicians from the University of California, Davis demonstrating the use of the company's quantitative transmission ultrasound technology in radiologic-pathologic validation. QT Ultrasound scientists will also present a collaborative study with researchers from the U.S. National Institutes of Health on the correlation of ultrasound to MRI for the detection of prostate cancer.
Two members of the QT Ultrasound research team, Bilal Malik, PhD, and James Wiskin, PhD, have also been invited to join the SPIE Program Committee for Ultrasound Imaging and Tomography.
