GE HealthCare (GEHC) has launched a multipurpose ultrasound system called Versana Premier.
The device is powered by GEHC's VisionBoost architecture and features its XDclear technology, according to the firm. It provides automation and AI-enabled productivity tools and features for improved workflow and clinical efficiency such as Whizz Color Flow, Whizz RenderLive, Whizz LabeI, Whizz Follicle, and V-Live 2.0. It is designed for general practice, OB/GYN, musculoskeletal, and cardiology indications.
It has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, GEHC said.
