Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania has deployed Exo Works, a point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) workflow software application developed by Exo.
Exo Works is designed to simplify and streamline ultrasound exam documentation, billing, and quality assurance at the point of care to potentially improve patient outcomes, Geisinger said. The 10-hospital system has implemented the application in its emergency, women's health, and sports medicine departments, with plans to expand to 14 other health departments.
The application is secure, cloud-based, and can be accessed from a phone, tablet, or web browser, which enables physicians to do their work from anywhere, Geisinger added. It includes AI capabilities.
