R2 Technology highlights journal study

Computer-aided detection firm R2 Technology announced the publication of a multicenter study evaluating its ImageChecker M1000 CAD system for mammography in the May issue of Radiology. More than 1,000 biopsy-proven cancer cases were collected from a pool of nearly 300,000 screening mammograms during the study, which included research from 13 hospitals and mammography centers around the country, according to the Los Altos, CA-based firm.
