DOBI teams up with TRW

Optical breast imaging developer DOBI Medical Systems and TRW Healthcare Solutions of Reston, VA, have announced that they will be jointly developing computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) software for the Mahwah, NJ-based vendor’s work-in-progress Dynamic Optical Breast Imaging (DOBI) system. TRW’s Center for Medical Image Analysis will apply its experience in CAD technologies and systems integration to enhance the DOBI unit, according to the firms.
