Mammography and x-ray vendor Fischer Imaging has promoted COO Louis Rivelli to president and CEO. Rivelli, who has served as COO since 1999,will have responsibility for all operational and financial activities at the company, according to Fischer.
In his new post, Rivelli will replace former CEO Morgan Nields, who will continue as chairman of the Denver-based company. Nields will advise the company on long-term corporate strategy and will serve as a corporate spokesperson.
In addition, Nields will continue to represent the company to the U.S. Congress, industry trade associations, investor conferences, and professional society meetings. Nields will also manage and oversee the company’s minority-owned investments and will develop funding strategies for related endeavors, according to Fischer.
