Thermal breast imaging developer Computerized Thermal Imaging has selected its first two regional dealer distributors. In the New England region, Alliance Imaging and Ray-Tek Services will distribute the Layton, UT-based vendor’s photonic simulator and thermal image processor for the treatment of pain.
Once CTI receives Food and Drug Administration clearance for its breast cancer detection system, Wareham, MA-based Alliance Imaging and Plaistow, NH-based Ray-Tek will also market that unit, according to CTI.
Alliance Imaging's territory for CTI will include southern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, while Ray-Tek’s territory will cover northern Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Their combined sales performance objectives are set at more than $3 million during the first year of the agreements, according to CTI.
