Denver x-ray and mammography developer Fischer Imaging has signed a product distribution deal with Broadlane, a supply chain management firm based in San Francisco and Dallas.
The first product covered by the relationship will be Fischer's MammoTest breast biopsy system. Later introductions will include the company's SenoScan full-field digital mammography system, once that unit receives FDA approval.
Broadlane offers group purchasing and other services to a range of healthcare customers that include Tenet Healthcare, Universal Health Services, Kaiser Permanente, and the Cleveland Clinic.
