Kodak releases new chemistry

Eastman Kodak has released X-Omat EXII developer and replenisher, new chemistry that offers higher contrast and bluer tone, according to the Rochester, NY-based firm. X-Omat EXII is intended for use in dedicated mammography and mixed-use applications.

The imaging improvements are especially noticeable when X-Omat EXII is used with Kodak's Min-R 2000 and Min-R L film for mammography applications, Kodak said. It is currently available in the U.S., with worldwide availability soon to follow.
