Israeli mammography firm ElscinTec Systems has set up a network of 16 distributors to sell its products, the company reported this week. The network will replace an OEM alliance with Philips Medical Systems, which previously sold the company’s products.
ElscinTec said it signed on the distributors as part of its effort to target the North American mammography market, in which Philips does not participate at present. ElscinTec is also active in South America and Europe, and plans to expand its activities in those regions, according to company executives.
ElscinTec’s products include the Glory mammography system and DigiMam digital spot biopsy system.
