Computer-aided detection developer CADx Medical Systems has received Food and Drug Administration clearance for a supplement to its Second Look mammography CAD system. The upgrade, Second Look version 4.0, adds the ability to export digitized images and CAD results to a PACS network or archive, according to the Laval, Quebec-based vendor. Customers will be able to use a DICOM standard interface to store results that can be viewed on a soft-copy workstation, according to CADx.
