Instrumentarium wins Premier CAD deal

Mammography firm Instrumentarium Imaging of Milwaukee will be selling its MammoReader computer-aided detection (CAD) system to hospitals in the Premier group purchasing network in a deal the companies signed last week.

Instrumentarium sells MammoReader under an OEM agreement with Howtek of Hudson, NH. Howtek won rights to MammoReader after buying the system’s developer, Intelligent Systems Software, earlier this year. MammoReader was approved by the FDA in January.
