Digital x-ray and mammography provider Hologic reported fiscal third-quarter revenues of $47.6 million, up 6% compared with the $44.9 million posted in the same quarter last year. For the period (end-June 29), the Bedford, MA-based firm had net income of $492,000, compared with a net loss of $1.2 million in the 2001 fiscal third quarter.
Hologic president and CEO Jack Cumming said that the firm was pleased with the quarter, with revenues continuing to increase and operating expenses declining. The company is also encouraged by the momentum being generated in all segments of its business, Cumming said.
