Laser breast imaging firm Imaging Diagnostic Systems has installed its CT Laser Mammography (CTLM) system at the Humboldt University of Berlin, Charité Hospital. The Fort Lauderdale, FL-based vendor installed the system to serve as a demonstration site for marketing CTLM in Europe.
Imaging Diagnostic plans to conduct studies to investigate additional applications and claims beyond that of its current U.S. Food and Drug Administration premarket approval (PMA) application. CTLM has received CE Marking, UL listing, ISO 9002 certification, and FDA export certification, enabling the system to be marketed internationally.
