Cost is one of the biggest drawbacks to installation of mammography computer-aided detection (CAD), and Hudson, NH-based iCAD says its operating-lease program will allow women’s health centers to immediately provide patients the benefit of CAD without large capital outlays.
Under the CADlease plan, the lease is funded by CAD revenues and generates a positive cash flow through the term of the lease. Payments through the first year of the lease are reduced, giving a facility the necessary time to increase revenues from CAD services.
Milwaukee-based Instrumentarium Imaging is the exclusive U.S. distributor of iCAD’s MammoReader technology in the U.S., and is the agent for the lease program.By AuntMinnie.com staff writers
