Fischer Imaging of Denver has inked a contract with Eastman Kodak Health Group for the Rochester, NY-based company to offer service and support to the worldwide installed base of Fischer's mammography products.
Last year Fischer sold its mammography assets to Hologic. Fischer, with Hologic's consent, has granted Kodak a nonexclusive limited license to use certain mammography assets necessary to provide service and support on the installed base of its systems.
It is anticipated that Kodak's Health Group will provide postsale support, including telephone customer technical support and onsite equipment repair and maintenance, to Fischer's service customers who enter into a Kodak service agreement, the company said.
