Fujifilm Medical Systems has obtained a Class III license from Health Canada for the distribution of its FCR Profect CS computed radiography system for mammography use in Canada.
The device is a multislot, high-resolution, dual-sided reading CR system that utilizes special imaging plates and software that make it capable of performing digital x-ray and mammography, the company said.
FCR Profect CS will be available through the firm's distributor, Christie Group of St-Eustache, Quebec.
