Triumph helps build modular MA breast center

Modular building firm Triumph Modular Construction of Littleton, MA, has completed installation of a new $1.2 million digital mammography center at Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, MA.

The center features the latest in digital mammography equipment and technology, as well as patient exam rooms, waiting rooms, office space, records storage rooms, and sleeping quarters for physicians.

The modular building was assembled using 14 individual sections for the 4,300-sq-ft building, which Triumph designed and built offsite and then lifted by crane over the hospital's existing four-story buildings.

Thanks to an accelerated building schedule and the modular construction process, the mammography center was operational some six months earlier than with more traditional construction, according to Triumph.
