Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has entered into collaboration with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), according to the Dallas-based nonprofit charity.
Fuji will contribute $250,000 to NBCF and will also donate two of its CR mammography systems, FCRm, to the organization.
In addition, Fuji will be providing NBCF with a donation from the sales of two new products -- a pink FinePix Z3 digital camera and a pink QuickSnap 800 flash one-time-use camera created to generate mammography awareness. Packaging for both cameras will display the NBCF logo and mission as well as information on the cause-related program to promote annual mammography screening.
