The big news since last year's RSNA show is Hologic's acquisition of R2 Technology in July 2006. R2's software will be displayed in Hologic's RSNA booth, according to the Bedford, MA, company.
Hologic will showcase R2's mammography applications software for use with Hologic's SecurViewDX workstation, including Citra, a universal and CAD-intelligent system for digital mammography images. For analog mammography, the company will demonstrate DigitalNow, a product that allows users to build a library of digitized prior mammograms to ease the transition from hard-copy to soft-copy review.
