Mammography device developer BioLucent has signed an agreement to provide its MammoPad device to UK Healthcare at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Aliso Viejo, CA-based BioLucent said that MammoPad will be used in the health system's Markey Cancer Center and the Department of Diagnostic Radiology in the Kentucky Clinic.
As part of the agreement, MammoPad cushions will also be provided to patients at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, KY, and St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY, which are affiliated with UK Healthcare, according to BioLucent.
