The American College of Radiology (ACR) has partnered with the New York State Department of Health to distribute 1,500 free copies of an ACR educational mammography CD-ROM, according to the ACR of Reston, VA.
Copes of Mammography Case Review (MCR4) will be sent to physicians in 600 ACR-accredited mammography facilities throughout the state of New York.
MCR4 allows physicians to test and improve their skills regarding the detection of cancers and other abnormalities via mammography by helping them evaluate multiple cases in a controlled electronic setting. Users may claim up to nine American Medical Association (AMA) PRA Category 1 credits for completing the MCR4 program, according to the ACR.
