Oshkosh unveils mobile mammo vehicle

Oshkosh Specialty Vehicles (OSV) showcased its new dedicated mobile mammography vehicle at the RSNA meeting in Chicago this week.

The vehicle, built on a Ford F-750 chassis, incorporates a Senographe Essential digital mammography system from GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.

The starting base price for the vehicle is in the $160,000 range, according to the Harvey, IL-based company. Customers are able to configure the vehicle with optional features to meet their specific needs and budget.
