Breast ultrasound imaging developer TechniScan has renewed its OEM relationship with Italian ultrasound vendor Esaote, the Salt Lake City-based company said.
The two firms have also extended their original agreement, with Esaote offering TechniScan additional support for that company's engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing initiatives. This support will allow TechniScan to complete its Svara whole-breast imaging system and continue developing its TechniScan Imaging Network, which allows physicians, patients, and payors to store and transmit image data and records across the network.
Esaote will also market Svara under its own brand in Europe, TechniScan said.
