As with all AuntMinnie.com virtual conferences, RADExpo 2011 takes place in a unique virtual environment where you can chat and network with colleagues, and registration is free and easy. You can even win one of a number of door prizes we're giving away to attendees, including Apple iPad 2 tablet computers.

Dr. Paul Chang will talk about PACS and radiology commoditization starting at 11 a.m. EDT on Thursday, with other presentations to follow. To attend, go to radexpo.auntminnie.com and complete the short registration process. See you there!

Radiologist lives World Series dream

It's any baseball fan's dream to catch the winning home run in a World Series baseball game. Well, a radiologist from the St. Louis area is living the dream this week after doing just that in Game 6 of the fall classic.

Dr. Dave Huyette and a friend were in the outfield seats when St. Louis Cardinals (and eventual World Series Most Valuable Player) David Freese went yard in the 11th inning of a memorable game against the Texas Rangers.

The quick-thinking Huyette vaulted a low fence and was able to retrieve the ball before other fans. You might be surprised to find out what he did next -- read all about it by clicking here.
