Breast imaging software developer Three Palm Software and mammography vendor Planmed have joined in a partnership in which Planmed will offer Three Palm's breast imaging workstation as part of its digital mammography portfolio, the companies said.
Three Palm's WorkstationOne is designed for efficient reviewing workflow and supports Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) mammography profiles and display of computer-aided detection markers, the firms said.
The workstation can be installed on an off-the-shelf general-purpose computer equipped with one or two grayscale high-resolution monitors and one color monitor.
The partnership will allow Planmed to offer WorkstationOne to customers worldwide alongside its Nuance Excel mammography system, Planmed said.
