Breast density software company Matakina International announced that more than 500,000 women have been measured with its Volpara breast density assessment software.
This milestone was achieved at one of the recent enterprise-wide installations of Volpara; these included Reading Hospital and Medical Center in West Reading, PA; El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA; and the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, VA.
Volpara generates automatic measurement of volumetric breast density values, along with a BI-RADS breast density classification, the company said.
