After a four-year absence, Jack Cumming has returned to women's imaging vendor Hologic as president and CEO, effective immediately.
Cumming joined Hologic in 2001 and served as CEO from 2001 to 2009. He succeeds Robert Cascella, who has stepped down for personal reasons. Cascella will serve as an advisor to Hologic through the end of November.
The company also announced that it expects to report third-quarter fiscal 2013 revenues of approximately $626 million. Final numbers will be available on August 5.
