PACS firm Sectra has installed one of its OneScreen units in a Richmond, VA, breast center.
OneScreen allows Allison Breast Center to offer osteoporosis testing via a hand x-ray acquired at the same time as mammography screening, according to the firm.
OneScreen is the first step in identifying patients at risk for osteoporosis, and it uses a fraction of the dose received in a traditional osteoporosis examination, Sectra said.
