PACS firm Intelerad Medical Systems is launching a new digital breast tomosynthesis module for its image viewing software.
Integrated directly into Intelerad's InteleViewer, the module is designed to improve workflow by allowing radiologists to read breast tomosynthesis studies from their main workstation.
The module also features a number of integrated stacking and comparison tools, and it retrieves tomosynthesis images in their proper orientation for automated layout protocols.
Intelerad plans to show the new module at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting.
