Women's imaging vendor Hologic has hired two new executives.
Hologic named Robert McMahon as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective May 26. He succeeds Glenn Muir, who is retiring as CFO. Muir will remain with the company through November 30 for the transition.
McMahon most recently served as the worldwide vice president of finance and business development for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics at Johnson & Johnson. He had been at Johnson & Johnson since 1993 in executive finance roles.
The company also appointed Peter Valenti III as division president of its Breast Health segment, effective May 26. He will also have overall responsibility for Hologic's Skeletal Health division.
Most recently, Valenti was a principal at New England Consulting Group, where he served as a consultant to numerous healthcare companies, including Bausch + Lomb. Prior to that position, Valenti was general manager of the U.S. region for Covidien's Surgical Devices business.
